Recognizing Achievements!
Every year Goodwill recognizes extraordinary graduates,
volunteers, employees and community and business partners
at our Annual Awards Luncheon. Below are the inspiring
stories from the 2006 winners.
Business Partner
of the Year
Nason Construction, Inc.
“Our business partnership with Nason supports
our mission by providing funds for Goodwill programs
that directly benefit individuals and the community,”
said Jeff Haggerty, Goodwill Director of Janitorial
Services.”
Nason Construction, Inc. provides construction management,
design-build, general contracting and cost management
services for clients in the public and private sectors.
In 2003, Nason Construction extended the first contract
to Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County - and
a partnership blossomed from there.
“We first contracted with Goodwill for clean-up
services on the Christiana Towers project at the University
of Delaware,” recalls Brian Hammond, Project
Executive for Nason Construction. Over the last four
years, Goodwill has been contracted to provide construction
clean-up services on numerous Nason Construction projects.
“Goodwill does a good job,” commented
Brian, “and they’re reliable.”
Drawing from over 80 years experience in the construction
industry, Nason Construction is known for delivering
projects on time and on budget by presenting clients
with an experienced and dedicated staff of construction
professionals. Servicing a wide variety of industries,
the Nason team has successfully contributed to the
construction and renovations of hundreds of millions
of square feet of healthcare, senior care, corporate,
warehouse/distribution, light industrial, hospitality,
educational institutional space.
“Not only has the Nason-Goodwill partnership
generated much-needed funds to support Goodwill programs
over the years,” remarked Jeff “it has
also enabled us to develop new relationships with
prospective partners.”

mission and promotes the philosophy of achievement
and unlimited possibilities.
