Goodwill Announces New Board Officers

Wilmington, DE – June 10, 2008 - Goodwill of Delaware & Delaware County, Inc. appointed new officers to their Board of Directors during an Annual Board Meeting in May.
Goodwill Board veteran Edward F. Connor, Jr., Real Estate Broker, Emory Hill Real Estate Services, Inc., will serve as the new Chairman of the Board. Connor served as Chair of the Sales & Operations Committee from 1997 through 2003 and again from 2006 until 2008. With a B.A. Degree in Economics and an M.A. in Industrial Relations from St. Frances College, Connor began his career in real estate in 1967 and joined Emory Hill Real Estate Services, Inc. in 1990. He succeeds former Board Chair, Douglas J. Cornforth, who recently completed his six-year term on Goodwill’s Board.
Rounding out the register of new Goodwill Board officers are Sarah E. DiLuzio, Associate Attorney, Potter Anderson & Corroon, LLP, who will serve as 1st Vice Chair; William J. Foley, III, Vice President, Middle Market Banking, WSFS Bank, who will serve as Treasurer; and Sandra C. Massa, Vice President, Business Banking, PNC Bank, who will serve as Secretary.
The Officers will serve a 1-year term.
For 87 years Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County, Inc. has been to improving the quality of life for individuals with barriers to employment through vocational services and work opportunities. Last year alone, Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County provided over 4,600 services to individuals throughout the region.
