Graduate of the Year Award:
A 2018 graduate of Goodwill’s Peer Support Specialist training, Chris is employed by and serves as an advocate for Goodwill programs. On any given day you can hear him talk about his gratitude for God, Goodwill and the opportunities he is experiencing.

Since graduating from Goodwill’s Step Up Program in 2018, Thomas has secured employment in the Upper Darby, PA Goodwill store where he continues to grow his social skills and looks for opportunities to take on new job responsibilities.
Personal Achievement Award:
Proud mom and devoted manager-in-training at the Goodwill store on Kirkwood Highway, Jen shares her story of recovery openly and supports others who are working to overcome addiction and incarceration. “For me to go from once being in the work release program, to now being in a position that I can give to others needing that second chance is a truly a miracle for me.”
Team Member of the Year Award:
Arline first came to Goodwill nearly 20 years ago for job skills training. This year she celebrates 18 years as the Executive Administrative Manager to the President. The board, leadership and staff of Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County are honored to name the team member of the year award for Arline Docherty – a true embodiment of the “mission in action”!

Since 2014, First State Community Action Agency has been a primary funder of Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County’s Employment Support Program serving low-income Delawareans. In this time, Goodwill has worked with more than 400 Delawareans, providing thousands of service components.
