Goodwill and AAA Mid-Atlantic Again Partner for Trade-in/Trade-Up Luggage Donation Program

Once again, Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County is teaming up with AAA Mid-Atlantic for the annual luggage trade-in/trade-up program. This initiative encourages the community to donate gently used luggage to Goodwill—preferably filled with clean, unwanted clothing, shoes or household items—in return for discount vouchers. These vouchers are good for the purchase of new luggage from any local AAA Mid-Atlantic store and for a future purchase at any Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County store.

“We are happy to partner again with AAA Mid-Atlantic in this luggage trade-in promotion,” said Goodwill’s President & CEO Colleen Morrone. “It is through the generous donations from the community and resale of gently-used items that Goodwill is able to fund its mission of providing skills training and job placement assistance to those in need in the community. Quite simply, you donate, you shop, and you help job creation in our community.”

For every piece of gently used luggage dropped off at one of the participating Goodwill donation centers between now and April 14, donors can save $30 off the purchase of non-sale, in-stock luggage of $100 or more (excluding tax) or $20 off a purchase of non-sale, in-stock luggage of $80 or more (excluding taxes)from AAA Mid-Atlantic. If the luggage is filled with gently-used clothing, shoes or other household items, donors will receive a voucher for $5 off their next $25 purchase from any Goodwill store.
