JOB FAIR AT THE GOODWILL CENTER IN WILMINGTON, DE
WHAT: Goodwill of Delaware & Delaware County, in partnership with the Delaware Department of Labor, The Division of Social Services – Community Partner Support Unit and Wonder Works, will host a job fair featuring more than 40 employers including: Always Best Care, Bank Of America, Bellwether Behavioral Health, Blue Ridge Home Care, Cabela’s, CarpeVITA Home Care, Corrado Construction, Delaware Technical & Community College, Delaware Transit Corporation(DART), Doubletree, Downtown Visions, Elwyn, ESS Substitute Teaching, Gateway Foundation, Goodwill Staffing Services, Griswold Home Care, Habitat for Humanity, Home Depot, Kelly Services, MVP Staffing, NERDiT Foundation, New Castle County, Ontime Staffing, Panda Express, Purdue Farms, Pettinaro Construction, Placers Staffing, Public Allies Delaware, Ranstad, Robert Half, Sallie Mae, Kenny Family ShopRite, South Mill Farms, Steinmart, TD Bank, The Maids, UPS Philadelphia, US Census Bureau, The Westin, and the Wilmington Police Department.
Training and program partners include: Delaware Center for Distance Adult Learning, The Goodwill Job Resource Center, Ride Share, Stand By Me, The Vet Center, Wilmington Job Corps and Year Up.
Our employer partners are hiring for entry level, mid-level and professional positions.
PREPARE: Before the job fair, create a resume and cover letter, practice answering common interview questions, and develop a 2-minute pitch/value statement using Goodwill’s free Career Connection (www.GoodwillDE.org/CareerConnection). Job seekers should dress for success, bring multiple copies of their resume and a form of personal identification. Onsite interviews will be available.
WHEN: 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 – Walk-ins welcome.
WHERE: The Goodwill Job Resource Center and Community Room, 300 E. Lea Boulevard, Wilmington, DE 19802. We encourage use of DART (route 14 stops in front of The Goodwill Center), car pooling or ride-share services at the rider’s expense. Limited parking is available in The Goodwill Center parking lot.
